I am very lucky to live in Luston so only a short walk away for me. Fantastic pub with fantastic food. All reasonably priced, great atmosphere and dog friendly. Well worth a trip if you do not live local.

I've always liked this pub. Pubs need as much support as possible especially in these times. Used to be the no1 place for a sunday dinner though I've not been on a sunday for a while.

“The Balance”

A charming and characterful rural pub with everything you would expect in the Herefordshire countryside.

Exposed beams, open fires and an unspoilt interior is the perfect place to relax with a pint of award winning ale from local breweries Wye Valley, Hobsons & Ludlow (not forgetting guest ales from far and wide)

Following the Covid -19 lockdown we have reopened and have amended our food offer. We now offer a range of stone baked pizzas & a range of gourmet burgers. Our famous fish and chips are also a permanent fixture with the odd special appearing at weekends. We are serving all meals (takeaway style) so you can enjoy here in house or take away.

Also in house is our bar and games room for those who enjoy a friendly game of pool or darts.(currently close)

Our doors are open from 5pm Mon-Friday and from 12pm Saturday and Sunday, so pop in and soak up some truly authentic English hospitality.
